A unique wine from our Rioja Alta area with fresh sour notes of raspberries, strawberries and grapefruit accompanied by sweeter ones of pear and apple with a very peculiar natural sparkle that provides it with liveliness.
90% Red Garnacha and 10% Viura from our own vineyards in Badarán.
Type of production
This unique rosé wine from this area in Rioja Alta is achieved thanks to the special microclimate where the Garnacha grapes ripen.
It is obtained by using two distinct methods:
A) Directly pressing the Red Garnacha grapes along with a percentage of Viura for subsequent fermentation.
B) The Night and Day Method, which consists of macertaing the Garnacha grapes together with the Viura grapes overnight so as to later obtain the must which has already acquired its peculiar color.
- Appearance: Pale color, between onion skin and salmon. Clean and bright.
- Aroma: Intense aroma of fresh fruit with sour notes (raspberries, strawberries, grapefruit) and slightly bitter hints reminding of pomegranate.
- Palate: A fresh attack, good acidity, with a very peculiar natural sparkle that provides liveliness. Citrus notes along with sweeter ones of pear and apple.
