Pedro Martínez Alesanco Selección
Our most personal wine, showing what the future of our family’s wines will be like. Made with the three most important varieties for our winery – Maturana Tinta, Garnacha and Tempranillo. An unmistakable wine with a peculiar style that leaves a pleasant impression of finesse and a velvety base offering us a luscious long finish.
This is a wine made from 40% Maturana Tinta, 30% Tempranillo and 30% Garnacha. From plots of land in our own vineyards in Badarán where goblet-trained and trellised grapes are handpicked.
Type of production
Fermentation and maceration in 500 liter barrels. Aged for 15 months in Bordeaux-type European and American oak barrels where malolactic fermentation took place. That, along with its unmistakable varieties, provides it with a unique style.
- Appearance: Cherry red with a dark robe and purple and violet hues.
- Aroma: A red wine of intense and clean aroma, reminding of fresh and wild red berries (blackberries, blackcurrants, gooseberries). With balsamic menthol hints. High quality rich, toasted notes.
- Palate: In the mouth it strikes with a remarkable density flavors and tannic structure. High quality rich, toasted notes (cocoa, vanilla, coconut, sugar-roasted).
